Assistance with Social and Community Participation

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a funding system that provides people with a disability the opportunity to live a fulfilled life that has the same opportunities as those without a disability.

The Catharsis Society can provide social and community participation supports to participants of the NDIS Scheme that are self-managed or plan-managed. 

This support is included in a participant’s plan to enable them to pursue; 

• recreational activities 
• engage in the community when aligned with NDIS goals

They may be provided in a centre or in community settings.  

Services are typically billed from the core portion of your NDIS Plan.
